The third run of the Symposium on Innovation and Challenges in Asian Tunnelling (SICAT) is organised together with industry partners from China, Japan and Korea. It aims to share valuable experiences gained from recent underground infrastructure projects across the 4 countries on various topics including technology developments, large diameter TBMs, challenges and lesson learnt from major tunnelling projects, developments in tunnelling, risk management, special innovations feature in tunnelling TBM, instrumentation, settlement analysis and tunnel maintenance works etc.

 

16 lectures will be delivered by prominent experts from the regions in their respective fields and several specialist suppliers and manufacturers will make presentations during the symposium showcasing their latest technologies and services. The specialist suppliers and manufacturers could also be engaged at their respective exhibition booths at the symposium to obtain more information about their products and services.

Raffles City Convention Centre

The Raffles City Convention Centre is about a 20-minute drive from the Singapore Changi Airport. Located in the city centre on the 4th level of the Raffles City Shopping Centre, the Raffles City Convention Centre is most ideal for mid-sized meetings and large conventions. The two large ballrooms, the Raffles Ballroom and the Stamford Ballroom, with seating capacity of 3000 and 1000 respectively, can be divided into smaller rooms, for different uses such as parallel sessions, official openings, luncheons and dinners.
